Neighborhood Watch

The Charter Neighborhood Watch Program is dedicated to building a strong sense of community while helping keep our neighborhood safe. By getting to know our neighbors, offering help when needed, and staying aware of our surroundings, we help create a welcoming and secure environment that makes The Charter a special place to live.

Established in 2023, the program was built from the ground up by one of our homeowners, making it the first Neighborhood Watch Program in Lone Tree. Today, the program is well-established and supported by 10 dedicated Neighborhood Watch Captains who generously volunteer their time to help keep neighbors safe and informed. The program is led by our current Neighborhood Watch Coordinator, Ryan Divine, whose commitment and leadership play a vital role in maintaining community safety.

The Neighborhood Watch team works closely with the Lone Tree Police Department (LTPD) to share information, review crime trends, and promote best practices for neighborhood safety. While Captains were originally assigned to specific areas, residents are encouraged to contact any Neighborhood Watch Captain with concerns or information. Updates are shared across the Neighborhood Watch team and, when appropriate, with local authorities to ensure timely communication. Knowing your closest Neighborhood Watch Captain is still encouraged, as it helps strengthen personal connections and reinforces the sense of community that defines The Charter. We are also always looking for additional Block Captains to help enhance communication and neighborhood awareness.

If you are interested in learning more about serving as a Neighborhood Watch Captain, or have any questions or concerns, please contact our coordinator, Ryan Divine, or any of the Block Captains.
